Malesu MaimboMalesu Maimbo is a Zambian Agricultural Engineering expert with 26 years experience in managing complex and multi-disciplinary, government and donor funded programmes and projects implemented at district, provincial and national, regional and cross regional levels as well as facilitating sustainable smallholder agricultural research and development in the areas of land management, conservation agriculture, soil and water conservation, small and large scale irrigation and water harvesting and management. His contribution is mainly in bettering the livelihoods of small-scale farmers and to science and engineering knowledge through several publications.
He has international experience from working on both short and long term assignments in Botswana, Burkina Faso, China, Ethiopia, India, Indonesia, Italy, Kenya, Malawi, Mali, Mozambique, Namibia, Netherlands, Niger, Norway, Rwanda, South Africa, Spain, Swaziland, Sweden, Tanzania, Uganda, United Kingdom, United States of America, Zambia, Zanzibar and Zimbabwe.
