Abera EndeshawAbera Endeshaw is a staff of WaterAid (International, Non Governmental Organization working in the WASH sector) as Senior Policy and Influencing Officer based at Addis Ababa. He received Master of Arts in Sociology from IGNOU, Delhi and BA Degree in Development Administration from Ethiopian Civil Service University.

As senior officer, he is in charge of policy advocacy & influencing, networking and Partnership works of WaterAid Ethiopia. In the last five years he has been fully engaged with the national and sub-national policy debates, platforms and forums, facilitating technical back ups to implementing partners of WAE in the areas of Policy and Practice influencing and advocacy, capacity building and networking.

In 2013/14, he has presented a paper entitled 'District Sector Performance Monitoring' focussing on Water Point Mapping on the Stockholm World Water Week under the theme of ICT for WASH.

Prior to his Masters degree, he has been doing at regional (sub-national) water bureau as sociologist expert and WASH Coordinator.
